WHO WE ARE
NorthStar Community Church is a community of men and women of all ages, backgrounds, races, and professions who have found help for today and hope for tomorrow through a personal relationship with JESUS.
We are committed to loving God...
...loving one another...
...and serving the world!
NorthStar Community Church was founded by a small group of men and women in the spring of 2005. They sought to create a church that was dedicated to loving God, loving one another, and serving the world. For the first few years NorthStar was known as Fort Lauderdale Community Church and met in the chapel at Women in Distress in downtown Fort Lauderdale.
In the spring of 2006 the opportunity to join with another church was presented and Fort Lauderdale Community Church and Wilton Manors Baptist Church merged in the fall of 2007 to become NorthStar Community Church. NorthStar now meets at the former campus of Wilton Manors Baptist Church.
