Our Values

NorthStar Community Church has several values that form the spiritual DNA of our church. While we could certainly list several other things that are important to us, here are a few values that are a priority.

• NorthStar Community Church values Scripture

We believe the Bible has direct implications for how we live our lives as well as how we do ministry. This is simply an issue of biblical authority as well as biblical sufficiency.  We believe that Scripture is perfect and without error as well as essential to helping us to know the life of Christ and guiding us in sharing His life with those who do not have a relationship with Him.

• NorthStar Community Church values Relationships

Jesus expressed the greatest commandments of Christianity in terms of our relationship with God and our relationships with other people (Mark 12:28-31). Life is about connecting with the love of God and living out that love in expression to others in healthy relationships. When we cultivate a healthy relationship with Christ we will begin to see big changes in our relationships with others. Authentic relationships bring fulfillment, encouragement, and transformation to your life.

• NorthStar Community Church values Family 

Christianity has everything to do with being a godly husband, a godly wife, and even a godly student.  We value helping families like yours know how to live out biblical principles for life.  Because Wildwood values the family we are sensitive to the needs of families as we plan events and activities in our church.  We value seeing families transformed in their relationships with one another beyond Sunday. 

• NorthStar Community Church values Evangelism

We are convinced that Christians must be intentional in sharing their faith with those who do not have a relationship with God.  We are committed to creatively connecting our culture with the gospel in a way that is shaped by the Word of God. The gospel or the “good news” of Jesus Christ should change everything about your life and compel you to share Him with others.

• NorthStar Community Church values Simplicity 

We just like to keep things simple as a church.  We have one mission and everything else that we do as a church revolves around that mission.  Our church services and all of our ministry opportunities are geared toward helping you live out this mission.
