4KIDS of South Florida

Often we think of orphans as children who live in third world countries, those whose images we see on television or in the newspaper. But they’re not just around the globe, they’re also right here in our own backyard. On any given day in South Florida, there are three to four thousand “temporary orphans” in foster care. Imagine how children must feel when they’re removed from their homes, often with nothing more than the clothes on their back and a garbage bag filled with whatever they were able to quickly pack. These children are created in the image of God and deserve to be treated with dignity and showered with love. So whether it’s a child who is a victim of abuse or neglect, a teenager rejected by his family, or a young girl who is pregnant and alone, from the moment they come into our care, we provide support, encouragement, and direction.

Taylors Closet- Hope & Love For Girls In Need

Taylor’s Closet is a place for at-risk girls where, through the simple experience of shopping, love, hope and empowerment (in the form of life-skills training) can take root and begin to break cycles of abuse, addiction and poverty. What happens in Taylor’s Closet is…remarkable. Girls who have been abused, injured or who are basically suffering from a lifetime of hopelessness, come in and find out that someone cares—that all these beautiful new designer clothes are there for them—completely free.
And then something happens to them…
Walls start to drop.
Attitudes become softer.
Conversations take place.
Love happens…hope happens.

Hope Women's Centers

Hope Women’s Centers exist to encourage and equip women to make informed choices regarding unplanned pregnancy, offering free medical service at four locations in Broward County. Confidential services include pregnancy tests, medical consultations, limited obstetrical ultrasound, peer counseling, community referrals, and on-going friendship and support.
As the love of God is shared in word and deed each year, thousands of women find the courage to make good decisions. Eighty-nine percent of the women who have an ultrasound choose life for their babies. Many who have already experienced abortion choose to be healed and reconciled to God through a 12-week Bible Study, “Forgiven and Set Free.” Many decide to change their lifestyle and delay further sexual activity until marriage. One woman at a time, Hope Women’s Centers is making a difference for life in Broward County.
